Ring in the New Year with a night of traditional, New Orleans-inspired, hot jazz with the Crescent City Quintet! Joyful polyrhythmic richness, moaning and wailing harmonies over danceable, swinging, toe-tapping beats. Drawn to New Orleans’s jazz roots since high school, band leader Alex Belhaj lived in the Crescent City for five years as a working musician, playing with countless seasoned NOLA-based traditional jazz bands. The band is rounded out by Ray Heitger (clarinet/vocals), John Grafing (trumpet), Chris Tabaczynski (bass saxophone/reeds), and Erik McIntyre (banjo/guitar)
