Jon Letts is a Michigan-based singer-songwriter and upright bassist originally from the Upper Peninsula and currently active in Detroit. He holds a master’s degree in improvisation from the University of Michigan and blends folk, jazz, Americana, and free improvisation into intimate live performances centered around voice and upright bass. His work draws from Midwest storytelling, experimental traditions, and years of performance across the region.
