Singer and guitarist Kat Steih's concerts are a lively offering. Part performance art, part singer-songwriter, her performances combine self-satirizing songs about partnership (and the conflicts within) with sweet meditations on solitude and self-hood. Weaving styles from many corners of the globe, Mikey creates a tapestry of music that ranges from romantic Mexican boleros to Celtic melodies. As an avid composer, Mikey draws from his pool of influences and classical study to create instrumental melodies inspired by things of nature like the mountains of Montana. As a songwriter, his influences include Bob Dylan, Yes, Fleet Foxes, and Wilco.
