Jo’s music stands original while always reflecting her love of American roots music. Her eclectic writing and performance fuses elements of various modern and traditional folk music, classic country, old-time and electric blues, surf, swing and alt-country/rockabilly. She has performed twice on NPR's "A Prairie Home Companion" and at the Kennedy Center, played countless festivals around the United States and was a featured artist on Sirius Satellite Radio Program, "Kick Out the Jams" with Dave Marsh, rock critic, Bruce Springsteen biographer and former editor at Creem Magazine. Marsh helped finance her first record with her group, Stella!. Jo is also the founding member of the old-time country group, Uncle Earl. Jo will be joined by John Devine, Dave Keeney and Dave Roof, performing some new material as well as old favorites from her past recordings.
